Lizbeth van den Boogart has been named as the new managing director of Fresh Park Venlo, the Dutch business park that plays host to more than 130 companies specialising in the fresh fruit and vegetable sector.
Van den Boogart, currently project developer at the site, will take on the new role at the start of September, when interim manager Bas Pickkers is due to step down.
Pickkers has spent longer in the role than originally anticipated. Over the past couple of years, he has overseen the park's continued development.
'I am very happy that I can make an active contribution to the development of the Venlo site in my new role,' commented Van den Boogart.
Fresh Park Venlo is a division of Dutch fresh produce company Zon Fruit & Vegetables.
