Sopexa

The board of French promotional organisation Sopexa last month decided to overhaul the governance of the group, with current managing director Cécile Bassot making way.

The board stressed the commitment and hard work that Bassot put in during her five years at the helm as the group entered its re-ordering and development phase.

It was under Bassot's direction that Sopexa became competitive, successfully opening up to new, especially international, advertisers.

The group is engaged in a new stage to become the top international agency for communication and marketing on food, wine and lifestyle.

Sopexa's president, Jean-René Buisson, will guarantee the operational management of the company until the recruitment of a new managing director, who will be tasked with considering new development paths and expanding the current economic model.
