A new website dedicated to packaging solutions for fresh fruit and vegetables is now live.

Thinking-fruitandveg.com contains all the packaging solutions from Sirane suitable for the global fresh produce trade.

“Sirane now offers so many fruit and vegetable packaging solutions that we decided to launch a dedicated website,' said Gillian Carter, Sirane’s sales executive for fresh produce. “We’ve split the site into areas where we specialise and offer solutions – absorbency, shelf-life extension, ethylene, oven-ready packaging and microwave packaging.

“We will also be making technical information and data from trials available on the site,' she added. “Sirane has a range of products, from absorbent cushioned pads for soft-fruit through to microwave bags for fruit-based desserts – so whether you are looking to protect your fruit in transit or increase profits by adding value, Sirane can help you achieve your goals.”

Thinking-fruitandveg.com is Sirane’s second dedicated site, following Thinking-seafood.com – and builds on the company’s Thinking brand – also used in the Sirane’s retail range Thinking-Cooking, a range of items including shelf-life bags sold straight to the consumer.
