Kiku apple juice

Apple brand Kiku has extended its commercial reach into fresh juices for the first time with the launch of Kiku 100% Pure Nature.

The drink, which is made entirely from fresh Kiku apples, has initially been rolled out in Germany, with plans already being drawn up to sell it around Europe.

“As with Kiku itself, the point is that we are offering a better Fuji and placing a premium on that quality,” commented director Jürgen Braun.

According to Braun, the juice will always be made from Kiku apples grown close to the market in which they are being sold.

The product making its debut in Germany, for example, is made from fruit produced in Lake Constance by members of the Kiku partnership.

Furthermore, Braun says the company plans to introduce other innovations, possibly by the summer.

“We’re also developing a concept around machines to produce Kiku Granita, a mix of crushed ice and pure Kiku apple juice.”

He added: “Yes, it’s a marketing tool, but we know there is potentially a good margin for the franchise.”
