Pink Lady gay

Coregeo, the master licensor for Pink Lady apples in the UK, has announced a tie-up with Gay Star News to sponsor Pink Lady’s involvement in Pride events in the UK for the second consecutive year.

The sponsorship forms part of a major investment by Coregeo, with efforts set to include a new advertising campaign and integrated public relations activities.

Coregeo’s chief marketing officer, Michelle Toft, commented: “The sponsorship of Gay Star News will offer the brand unparalleled opportunities to reach the influential LGBT audience while supporting Pride and everything it stands for.”

Pink Lady apples will be handed out to 10,000 people attending the four Pride events in Birmingham, London, Brighton and Manchester this summer.

The apples will be included in Gay Star News’ goody bags, which actor Sir Ian McKellen has illustrated with a picture of his Lord Of The Rings character Gandalf.

In addition, Pink Lady will receive advertising support on Gay Star News’ website, as well as on social media and promotional materials in the lead-up to the events.

Plans are equally afoot to extend the sponsorship with in-store stickering featuring the Pride rainbow alongside Pink Lady’s heart logo.
