Cool Logistics Asia

Lars Kastrup, senior vice president of shipping giant CMA CGM, has been announced as a keynote speaker for the inaugural Cool Logistics Asia Conference, taking place in Hong Kong during September.

Kastrup’s presentation will focus on container shipping challenges in Asia, with topics to include service reliability, port performance, direct calls and feeder services and reefer container investment.

Joining Kastrup on the programme will be Thomas Lau, head of logistics at Metro Jin Jiang Cash & Carry Co, who will discuss food safety compliance and first mile logistics in China. Other confirmed speakers include Jack Lo, senior vice cargo product and marketing manager of Cathay Pacific Airways and Tsunemichi Mukai, senior vice president of MOL Liner.

The conference will take place on Wednesday 2 September at AsiaWorld-Expo Hong Kong. It will be the first dedicated perishables logistics conference with an Asia regional focus, running alongside the established Asia Fruit Logistica trade show.
