Leading Italian supplier Agricoper is poised to supply an even larger volume of seedless table grapes this season as demand for such varieties continues to increase.
Speaking to German industry publication Fruchthandel Magazine, the company’s sales and marketing director Domenico Liturri said he was confident of a good start to the season, which is officially due to get underway for Agricoper on 9 July.
“This season we have many new products to offer that we hope will inspire our customers,” he commented.
“For the first time, during this campaign we will present our entire range of innovative varieties, of which there will be much more volume available than last year.”
Kicking off the season with seeded varieties Black Magic and Victoria, Agricoper also expects to market a larger volume of the red, seedless variety Plummy from the outset.
