What are the right products in today's tomato category? What does the consumer want? How can demand be increased? And how can you plan a successful business strategy for the future?
These are key questions which experts from all sections of the value chain will attempt to answer at the new European Tomato Forum, which takes place on 1-2 June 2017 in Düsseldorf.
The European Tomato Forum is the first in a series of new specialised conferences that will focus each year on a different product category.
The series is organised by Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft (AMI) and Eurofruit’s sister publication Fruchthandel Magazine with the aim of providing new input in category management and bringing together the key European market players to discuss new strategies and ideas for product marketing.
Tomatoes are the number one consumer product at point of sale in many European countries. The whole segment has undergone something of a revolution in recent years, with an incredible range of new products appearing in the market.
So how can the sector build on this burst of innovation and develop the category even further?
The European Tomato Forum will include plenary and breakout sessions on a wide range of topics with ample networking opportunities.
Participants will also have the opportunity to present their products and services in a specialised exhibition area.
Plenary sessions will offer simultaneous translation in English and German.
