Miss Chef

Following an encouraging first season, cooking apple brand Miss Chef, from Pink Lady Europe, is set for a dynamic campaign to boost recognition. This season, Miss Chef is getting a makeover, including more flattering packaging.

“Instead of the bag packaging that did little to differentiate the brand from entry-level products, the new solution is a premium tray for four or six apples, redesigned with fluted edges, a key element for recognition of the brand,” Pink Lady Europe revealed in a press release.

The new packaging will feature more than 20 recipes on the back, created exclusively for Miss Chef and adapted to the eating habits of the target countries.

This week, Miss Chef also launched its new dedicated website, where consumers can find reams of information about the apple’s qualities and uses, plus brand-new recipes.

To speed up the recruitment of new consumers, this season Miss Chef is planning “round price” stickers to be affixed during packaging.

“The trade marketing toolbox is also expanding with new mechanisms, such as ‘100% satisfaction guarantee’ trial offers, immediate discount coupons, on-pack promotions, culinary competitions and more, to build up the momentum for in-store visibility and rotation,” the company revealed.
