Freskon

Greece’s annual fresh produce exhibition, Freskon, returns to Thessaloniki this week, welcoming visitors to the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Conference Center on 27-29 April.

According to organisers TIF-Helexpo, hosted buyers from 35 countries will be present this year, including from south-eastern Europe, central Europe, the Balkans, Scandinavia, the UAE and China.

“The dynamism of this year’s event proves that in terms of both quality and quantity, participants will exceed those of Freskon 2016,” said the organisers.

In addition to the International Kiwi Congress, which will be held during the exhibition on 27 April, FreshCon Market will also take place for the third consecutive year, with the support of Greek magazine Froutonea.

The aim of FreshCon Market, TIF-Helexpo said, is to directly connect the big supermarket chains, which control a significant part of the distribution network, with professionals in the agricultural sector.
