Leading fresh produce brand SanLucar showcased its wares to some of the world’s most notable gastronomy professionals in Germany earlier this week.
Billed as the grand gala for top cuisine, Nacht der Sterne took place at Mercedes-Benz Museum in
Stuttgart on Monday.
The event brought together close to 1,000 guests from the gastronomy and hotel industries, along with 150 star chefs of German speaking countries. Among them was German chef Rolf Straubinger of the Burg Staufeneck (Salach) restaurant, which has been awarded a Michelin star.
SanLucar entered a partnership with Straubinge in January last year. During a live demonstration at the event, Staufeneck, together with his team, prepared a range of culinary creations, incorporating a range of SanLucar’s fresh fruit and vegetables.
Alongside the cooking master classes and trade show, the Nacht der Sterne also provided the backdrop for the Hornstein ranking of the best restaurants in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and South Tyrol.
