Nationwide Produce has announced that its Dutch division Vitaal Europe has expanded its warehouse facilities near Rotterdam to meet increased demand.
According to group managing director Tim O'Malley, the expansion has nearly doubled previous capacity to 40,000ft2 at the ABC estate near Poeldijk.
"Cold storage is much sought after, with ABC being at full capacity, so we were fortunate in being able to secure this additional space in the building next door," a statement from O'Malley read.
"We now have ten loading docks and four independent coldstores, with a holding capacity of 800 pallets, all operating at product specific temperatures," he added. "We are currently able to offer cross docking, pallet collation and short term cold-storage to third parties."
