The Ambrosia apple campaign has kicked off in Spain with distributors reporting dynamic demand and fluid sales.
With European production volumes similar to 2020, the club variety will be in stores until April.
The availability of large-sized apples will be limited this season, but the Spanish market will be given priority, marketers said. Medium-sized apples will also be marketed in Spain to guarantee volumes to customers and satisfy demand.
The brand will launch various promotions aimed at both retailers and consumers, with the aim of building loyalty between both and boosting sales. This will include TV advertising and digital media activities.
From November, the brand will supply welcome packs to wholesalers including a zipped cloth bag, magnetic notepads, kraft bags, facemasks and promotional leaflets.
Consumers will also have the opportunity to win a Thermomix and iPad in a prize draw.
