On 18 November, French fresh-cut firm Bonduelle announced the signing of the purchase of the entirety of Belgian company La Corbeille, which specialises in the production of preserved vegetables and fruits.

La Corbeille has a turnover of some €67m and owns three sites in the province of Antwerp, in Westmeerbeek, Rijkevorsel and Stabroek, which produce a total of 100,000 tonnes of preserved fruit and vegetables.
