Fresh produce multinational Total Produce has moved to acquire 50 per cent of Netherlands-based soft-fruit specilaist ASF Holland B.V from Frankort & Koning.
According to a joint press release, the acquisition will provide the opportunity to further expand the ASF Holland business, complementing Total Produce's existing operations in the group's specialist area which is principally conducted through its wholly-owned subsidiary Redbridge Holdings.
Total Produce has also confirmed that Ron Jongbloed will continue as managing director of ASF Holland.
ASF Holland B.V business is expected to achieve sales of around €25m this year, according to Total Produce..
