The second edition of the European Fair Trade Fair is due to take place on 2-4 October at the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon, France.
Held on an area of 6,000m2, the fair is expected to welcome 200 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors, including 5,000 professionals, with food and drink the prime focus.
“Products such as Fairtrade coffee and bananas represent volumes that can no longer be ignored,” the organisers stated.
The fair offers visitors the opportunity to talk directly with suppliers from European wholesalers, distributors and retailers, and meet with non-governmental organisations and associations.
