Delizie di bosco del Piemonte

Italian supplier Ortofruit Italia has begun marketing its own soft fruit crop under a new brand, delizie di bosco del Piemonte (Piedmont forest delights).

Utilising a new brand identity conceived by Bologna-based marketing agency SG Agroalimentare, the new range of products is designed to be easily identified by consumers, with a modern-looking logo and a strong magenta colour scheme designed for maximum visual impact.

'Delizie di bosco del Piemonte guarantees a product which has a high level of quality and is grown in the area around Cuneo, a region particuarly suited to the production of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and currants,' sais a spokesperson.

Throughout the summer, promotions are being run in selected Coop Italia stores in order to highlight the brand's launch. Representatives will dispense product information at the point of sale as well as handing out free bowls of fruit salad to all who purchase a product from the range.
