Agrexco dates

This year, leading Israeli exporter Agrexco anticipates a 10 per cent increase in exports of its Carmel dates, which the company says will arrive early this year.

Picking is expected to begin during the first week of August, with the first shipments reaching Europe shortly thereafter.

According to product manager Ofri Dimentman, Agrexco’s exported volume of 1,800 tonnes comes from various cultivation areas stretching from the Red Sea to the Sea of Galilee, helping the company to supply all year round.

Agrexco has tripled its volumes of Medjool dates this year. Last December, the company also launched special packs of Medjool dates and walnuts. Due to their popularity, Agrexco has this year doubled the volume it sends to the major retail chains.
