Red grapefruit

The export season for Israeli exporter Agrexco’s red grapefruit is due to begin at the end of this month and will last until the end of April.

The red grapefruit is grown all over Israel, in Upper Galilee, Western Galilee, Hasharon, the coastline and the Negev, and exported all over Europe and the Far East.

According to Agrexco, this variety offers great health benefits to consumers, due to its high vitamin C content, in addition to pectin fiber and lycopene.

The company is also preparing for the export of a number of other citrus varieties, including the white grapefruit, the red pomelo and the Sweetie.
