Netherlands-based vegetable seed company De Ruiter hosted an international meeting between 14-16 May, in a bid to bring industry experts, breeders, growers and journalists together to discuss seed and plant health.
Topics covered at the event included worldwide glass horticulture and food chain safety regulation and requirements, with the aim of sharing knowledge with professionals throughout the sector. The meeting also included the official launch of De Ruiter Seeds' new facilities in Bergschenhoek, which offer researchers opportunities to breed quality varieties.
