Faerch Plast has announced that it has handed the role of chief executive officer to Lars Gade Hansen, who will step into his new position on 1 December 2009.
Mr Hansen will take over from acting CEO Niels Hermansen, who has held the position since March 2009, and who will subsequently revert to the role of group chairman.
The Denmark-based plastic packaging products specialist will welcome Mr Hansen from BOD Furniture, where he occupies the position of chairman and co-owner.
He has previously held posts as CEO of Bodilsen A/S and executive vice-president for procurement and logistics at Vestfrost, and also boasts a military background.
