The second edition of World Of Perishables (WOP) Dubai is set to take place this year on 8-10 March, at the Airport Expo Dubai.
The fresh produce event is targeted at trade visitors based in the Arabian Gulf, the Middle East, Iran, India and Pakistan.
However, according to the organisers, the event is also proving attractive to professionals from as far afield as Asia and Europe.
The event is designed to offer exhibitors the opportunity to present solutions to exporters, importers, wholesalers and retailers looking to: source fresh produce; reduce post-production and post-harvest losses; maintain product quality through the use of appropriate packaging; minimise delivery times; and maintain an unbroken coldchain to retain freshness.
Coupled with the main exhibition is the WOP conference, which will aim to bring to the table a number of interesting topics interesting to both international and regional attendees, such as market opportunities in the region, logistics and food safety.
