Key Technology has announced that experienced food equipment group Flo-Mech has been appointed as its exclusive sales partner for the UK and Ireland market.
As part of the deal, Flo-Mech will be responsible for bringing Key Tech's automated inspection and sorting systems, specialised conveying and processing equipment to customers that process and package food products such as fresh and processed fruits and vegetables, potatoes, nuts, snacks and meats, as well as industrial products.
'Flo-Mech has a long-standing relationship with Key Technology. They have the capabilities, the familiarity with Key's products, and the industry relationships to be a tremendous resource for customers and a valuable asset to our organisation,' said Key Tech's Europe, Middle East and Africa sales director Andreas Hoffman. 'Flo-Mech offers an assortment of equipment that complements Key's product line and provides a variety of services from safety management to sustainability, which enable customers to receive a wide range of solutions without going to multiple suppliers.'
Stuart Elderkin, MD at Flo-Mech, said that the group was 'very excited' to be expanding its relationship with Key Technology.
