Roscoff

The French port of Roscoff, constructed in the 1970s by Brittany's vegetable producers and exporters, has launched a modernisation project that will cost some €42m, according to Marine Marchande.

The works include increasing the depth of the port to allow a new generation of larger vessels to enter the port.

At the same time, a new marina is set to be built. This is reportedly due to open in 2012.
