Kid eating apple Italy

On the 14-15 May, organic apples from Italy's Val Venosta will be on display at the Palazzo delle Stelline (Palace of Little Stars) in Milan for 'KIDS', an event organised by children's publishing house Sfera Editore.

Bio Val Venosta, the region's leading organic apple brand, is set to sponsor the event, which opens on Friday 14 May and will see a range of companies take part in meetings and discussions about market trends and marketing and distribution strategies related to products designed for, and aimed at, children.

Then, on Saturday 15 May, the doors will be opened to parents and children, who will be invited to discover new games and take part in workshops and seminars run by sociologists, researchers, psychologists, artists and experts in communication and languages.

According to VI.P, the Association of Val Venosta Fruit and Vegetable Producers, a hostess will be present to hand our Bio Val Venosta apples and branded toys to children attending the event, also inviting parents to enter a competition to win one of 40 farmhouse holidays.

VI.P is banking on apples remaining a popular source of health-enhancing vitamins for growing kids. 'Apples contain vitamins, organic acids, soluble fibres and anti-oxidant substances which make them a health, tasty and genuine food,' said a spokesperson for the group.

Organic Val Venosta apples, meanwhile, are produced using only natural cultivation methods, avoiding the use of any synthetic chemical susbtances.

'It is a superior quality fruit, recommended for a healthy diet and ideal as a healthy and balanced snack,' added the spokesperson.
