Belgium's Flanders Agricultural Marketing Board (VLAM) is planning to launch a brand new three-year campaign in collaboration with Belgian suppliers and importers to promote higher fruit and vegetable consumption among Belgian consumers.

Under the tagline All Day Long, the €700,000 campaign is 50 per cent funded by the European Union, with a 27.5 per cent contribution from fresh produce importers and the remainder paid for by the Flemish fruit and vegetable trade.

The organisation was recently granted just under €3.2m in European subsidies to market a number of agricultural products over the next three years.

VLAM oversees the marketing of the Flandria quality mark for Belgian fresh fruits and vegetables, which is used by the country's six largest fruit and vegetable auction houses.
