The European Commission has revealed that the deadline for its inquiry into fresh produce company TotalProduce Plc's proposed acquisition of 60 per cent of Dutch producecompany Haluco BV is set for 11 August 2008.
Total Produce announced in May that it intended to buy 60 percentof two Dutch companies, Haluco and Nedalpac BV, for a total price of upto €23m.
