IFCO has revealed that it has signed new long-term contract renewals with Germany's leading organic produce wholesalers Dennree and Weiling, to become their reusable packaging service provider for fruits and vegetables.
According to Petra Renner, Dennree's purchasing director for fresh produce, the RPC line offered provides the wholesaler with an environmentally friendly packaging system, with the group's European and national infrastructure the determining factor in the renewal.
And Sascha Hinkes, purchasing director for fruits and vegetables at Weiling, said that the wholesaler relies on the reusable, ecological packaging system, and still wants to benefit from IFCO's full service.
'We are very pleased that Dennree and Weiling have selected IFCO as their RPC service provider and are committed to deliver environmentally friendly logistics services to the organic produce wholesale market in Germany,' said Michael Meierhöfer, managing director of IFCO Germany. 'These agreements underscore our market position as the leading RPC service provider in the organic sector.'
