Alimentaria & Horexpo Lisboa has announced the programme of activities to take place at its Alimentaria, Horexpo and Tecnoalimentaria trade fair on 27-30 March this year.
The event aims to encourage debate on a variety of food industry topics, including a number that pertain to Portugal's vegetable sector.
The Product of the Year and the Flavour of the Year awards will once again be handed out to companies demonstrating high levels of quality and innovation in food and beverage production.
Other highlights include cookery and dessert competitions, opportunities to sample Portuguese cuisine and a discussion on the role of ready-cooked foods in the future of the restaurant industry.
Alimentaria Exhibitions is a Spain-based joint venture between Reed Exhibitions and Fira de Barcelona, organising a number of trade fairs across Europe and South America every year.
