According to importer Rodanto, regular supplies from Israel and Egypt ceased last week. 'Since then new crop from Morocco came on line almost immediately and we are seeing new crop supplies from Spain too,' said the company's Mervyn Farnham. 'We are therefore compensating more than adequately with fruit of superior quality and have resumed supplies from Egypt too.' AFI Direct Sales reports supplies from Egypt and Israel have been lower than expected. But the quality of fruit that has been shipped is good. The company has supplies of Moroccan Camarosa and first sighting of Spanish fruit ready to fill any market gap.
