With Defra's John Sherlock on hand to outline scientific developments, speakers will include Tesco's Ann Wells, on the development of the tomato category within the UK market, while Organic Farm Food's Richard Arnold, will give advice on marketing organic produce from a supplier's perspective.

A series of round-robin sessions will tackle problems such as spider mites, and Bill Vorley from the International Institute for Environment & Development will provide an insight into the terms of trade with UK retailers.

There will be plenty of time for discussion and viewing exhibits - trade stands are scheduled to open from 4pm to 6 pm.
