Humber Growers took over VHB in July last year to form Humber VHB, one of the world's largest glasshouse producers with 450 acres under production in the UK, Spain and Portugal employing 1,000 people full time.

Humber was a leading cucumber grower and VHB specialised in tomatoes and herbs. Between them they offered a product portfolio aiming to supply year round not just tomatoes and cucumbers, but also capsicum, cress, herbs and organic tomatoes, cucumbers and capsicum.
