National Cranberry Week proved to be a resounding success again, pushing UK sales to new heights across the range.

Activities included a special Ocean Spray cranberry race at this year's BBC Good Food Show, aimed at raising funds for Birmingham's Children's Hospital. TV chef Anthony Worrall Thomson battled it out on special cranberry space hoppers with 12-year-old heart transplant survivor Robert Plotnek. Other participants included TV wine guru Oz Clarke and Ready Steady Cook's Lesley Waters.

Ocean Spray's general manager Sarah Johnson said: 'National Cranberry Week is a gentle reminder that the most feisty of autumn fruits is making its way across the Atlantic and into our stores. Fresh cranberries are only available for around six weeks, although cranberry products from Ocean Spray are available all year round.'
