A rising number of customers are turning to specialist fresh and exotic ingredients supplier Beacon Foods for its range of caramelised onion products.

The Brecon-based company has found a growing market for its caramelised onions, which are given a twist by adding either balsamic vinegar or red wine vinegar.

Used by the manufacturers of sandwiches, pizzas and speciality breads, the new ingredients join red onion marmalade, chutneys, relishes, salsas and chili jams as recent additions to the successful Beacon Foods portfolio.
