Delivery company Flowers Direct is launching a relay service in April.

As a result the company is looking for good quality florists in the UK and Ireland to help fulfil orders.

Ian Rawlins, managing director of Flowers Direct Online Ltd, explained: 'The network has huge potential. We aim to offer our members an exciting business opportunity, backed up by the best facilities with professional expertise and a friendly caring service.

'There will be a host of benefits, from improved order processing, better commissions, regular payments and new product collections, to websites for members, national advertising and loyalty programmes. There are benefits in joining early and taking advantage of being the first Flowers Direct member in a particular area.

'The relay network, which will be of interest to established companies as well as those new to the florist trade, will also result in package options, software training and improved customer service.'
