PREPACK Systems has launched the new series of Daumar PA-25 weighing machines which can be used for a wide variety of fresh produce.

The PA-25 Evolution builds on the simplicity and reliability of its predecessor but also features improved accuracy and ease of use. The addition of a 16th bucket allows better settling of product prior to the weighing process and many more possible choice combinations for the microprocessor to achieve precise weight.

The produce feed belt is self-regulating to ensure precise loading of each bucket ensuring fast and accurate production.

The machine also benefits from a colour, touch screen for controlling machine operation, data input and accessing production reports and statistics. Stainless steel is employed to ensure low maintenance and easy cleaning, and all electronics are contained in a water-resistant cabinet to allow safe washing down of the machine.

More than 45 weighing actions per minute can be achieved with a very low percentage give-away, depending on the product and operating conditions.

And the product is available with a single or double product exit conveyor that allows two bagging machines to be fed from the weighing machine simultaneously.

Daumar machines are distributed in more than 25 countries and the PA-25 Evolution can be used for various fresh produce items including citrus, potatoes, sprouts, cauliflower and broccoli florets, most root vegetables, onions, nuts and garlic.
