Syngenta Seeds Ltd has announced the appointment of Andy Varney as sales manager vegetables for the UK.
Varney joined the company in October 1996 as vegetable sales representative, he then progressed to the role of product manager for leeks, lettuce and onions in 1988.
Pim Neefjes has been appointed young plant raisers and seed technology manager for Europe. His new role will be based at Enkhuizen in Holland.
