Tomato ingredients have reached new levels of popularity according to food-processors Beacon Foods. The Brecon-based company has recorded a substantial rise in orders for cherry and sun-dried tomatoes for sandwich fillings, pizza toppings, recipes dishes and bread products.
Earlier in the year the company supplied halved cherry tomatoes for a range of rolls to celebrate Comic relief.
The company's also uses beef and salad tomatoes. It supplies products in a wide range of formats to meet customer requirements.
