The deadline is October 31, so time is running out and The Mango Association is calling on all chefs to enter.
UK chefs can enter the Mango Association competition. It's so simple to enter as all you have to do is send in an inspiring mango recipe and the best one wins.
The recipe that makes most taste buds tingle wins a dream trip for two to South Africa for seven days to visit the native mango groves, soak up the sun and learn new mango dishes.
The prize includes flights, accommodation (sharing) and meals. It must be taken during the South African mango season, which runs from December 2003 to March 2004.
Mangoes are fast becoming the fruit of choice for chefs, restaurateurs and caterers around the country. The unique taste, texture and versatility of a mango adds a whole lot extra to a multitude of savoury and dessert dishes.
The winner will be picked on November 7 and notified within one week. They will appear on the website with their winning recipe.
