The NFU has revealed plans for a new landmark building that will house its new national headquarters.

The two-storey crescent-shaped site will be located at Stoneleigh Park, Worcestershire and will be designed to suit its rural setting.

Architects SMC Corstorphine and Wright have been employed to design the building and a planning application has been submitted to Warwick District Council.

Roger Ward, the NFU director in charge of the Warwickshire move, said: “This will be a state of the art development, which will provide a home for our staff and a meeting centre for our farmer members to enable us to meet their needs.”

The move is scheduled to take place in the summer of 2005.
