Beacon Foods new product development team has revealed a range of ingredients for sandwiches and wraps.
The Brecon-based fresh and exotic ingredients specialists have said the new range includes fillings such as: caramelised pineapple chunks with cinnamon, caramelised apricot halves, char-grilled chipotle chili puree and cross-cut honey roast parsnips.
The company is also supplying caramelised red onions to accompany goat’s cheese and rocket leaves in a premium wrap.
More than 500 ingredients and flavours, including roasted, chargrilled, flame-roasted, bar-marked and poached fruits and vegetables, are produced for leading UK food manufacturers, which supply national supermarket chains, the retail grocery trade, restaurants, pub chains, airlines and rail companies.
