Beacon Foods has introduced a new range of mushroom ingredients as demand continues to grow.
The new range can be found in a whole host of food products. These include; mushrooms with shallots cooked in a Worcestershire sauce which are spicing up a meat dish, sliced portabella mushrooms are going into a new quiche product, sliced mushrooms are being added to a chargrilled mix for a chicken ready meal and button and chestnut mushrooms are being supplied for a range of premium food products.
The company has also received positive feedback to trials on caramelised mushrooms in butter, specially seasoned garlic mushrooms, roast mushrooms and mushroom medley mixes for pizza toppings, ready meals and other dishes.
