Onion experts Holus have opened a new office over in Holland to expand operations into Europe.
The Newmarket based company’s new office is in Breda and md Jeremy Allpress said: “This move gives us clear focus on our sourcing activities in the Netherlands and a strategic base to expand sales throughout Europe.
“We source most of our products from the Netherlands and therefore being closer to our suppliers strengthens our relationships and quality of service.”
Peter Daniels, European manager, said: “We are excited to be situated close to the action and the opportunities it presents.”
Daniels, who will be assisted by Kristin Van Opstal in the Dutch office, will source and supply a range of vegetables and salads, specialising in onions and carrots, either organic or conventional.
