Youngsters in Oswestry have been tucking into some healthy treats, thanks to a local fruit and veg supplier’s donations.
John Dennis, which supplies fruit and veg for Kwik Save, has been giving boxes of apples, melons, pineapples and other fruit to local school children in a bid to get them to eat their greens.
Alex Cattley, produce manager for John Dennis, said: "We have been giving them whatever exotic stuff we have got on promotion, like melons and pineapples and bananas."
