The Asparagus Growers’ Association will be holding its second Asparagus Agronomy Open Day at Cobrey Farms, Coughton, Herefordshire on April 14.
Delegates will hear presentations from technical and marketing speakers in the morning session. After an asparagus lunch they will be able to take part in an afternoon touring the packhouse and fields in small groups with well-informed staff from the farm.
Running alongside these events will be a specialised trade exhibition including international machinery and equipment suppliers, packers and allied industries.
The event is free to AGA members and a small charge will be made to others. Anyone interested in exhibiting at the trade exhibition is also invited to contract the AGA office on 01507 602427.
