Die Akademie Fresenius in Cologne is hosting the fourth edition of its two-day seminar on “Residues and Contaminants in Food” on March 29 and 30.

Delegates will hear from 21 experts on the current legislation and other topics relevant to the use of pesticides in Europe.

New pesticide products are regularly introduced to the market and the limits for usage are changed as frequently, incurring significant costs as well as uncertainty for the industry, said the Academy’s project manager, Sabine Mummenbrauer.

As such industry members should take advantage of this opportunity to hear the facts about the issue in order to be proactive in addressing them, she added.
