CMi Certification has appointed a new agriculture technical manager.

After eight years at CMi as a farm assessor Paul Adams will take on the role, managing a number of new assurance schemes arising for the company.

This experience combined with a background in directing a cross-county grain farming co-operative has giving him a sound knowledge in assurance schemes across the farming industry.

Adams joined CMi Certification as the first assurance schemes with Assured British Meat (ABM), Assured Produce (AP) and Assured Combinable Crops (ACCS) were first introduced.

He said: “It’s been a very interesting time to look at how these schemes have developed over the years since their inception and the importance they have in today’s marketplace.”

Today CMi Certification is involved with many schemes worldwide which have become an integral part of the food and farming businesses.

David Richardson, CMi Certification’s Managing Director welcomed Adams to his new role saying that his wealth of knowledge in the industry would be invaluable to CMi, as it continues to expand into new markets.
