Recruitment and response-handling agency Redfox has unveiled a new development that will enhance efficiency and confidentiality for its clients. Its texting service gives a short-dial number on adverts it places so that interested candidates can send an SMS message as soon as they read the advert.

“If someone is on the Tube, for example, and they read the ad, they can just text ‘new job’ and their contact details to the short-dial number given,” explains Max MacGillivray, Redfox director. “It is really for busy individuals who perhaps don’t have their CV updated already. They see the ad, send the text straightaway and we can call in them back within 24 hours in confidence. They can do all that without exposing themselves commercially in the market.”

The new service appears in Redfox advertisements featuring in FPJ this week.
