Keelings has announced an agreement with IVG White (Sales) Ltd to acquire the latter’s fresh produce business in Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire.
IVG White distributes a range of salads and fruit throughout the UK from its UK and global grower partners. “This transaction is part of Keelings’s ongoing strategy to develop its core fresh produce business and drive continuous improvement,” said William Keeling, Keelings (UK) managing director. “The acquisition facilitates growth opportunities in the UK market. The business will continue to be managed by the White family and the excellent management team they have developed.”
Julian White of IVG White said: “This represents a fantastic opportunity to add momentum to the ambitious plans we have for our business. We look forward to Keelings’s support in taking the business to the next level.”
Keelings operates in Ireland, the UK, Spain, Poland and the Netherlands.
