The Yorkshire Cook Bus made a stop at Stockbridge Technology Centre last week, with more than 100 pupils from the local area getting involved in both harvesting crops and cooking.
And that was only the start of it, with 300 more pupils visiting as part of the Big Harvest, wherein children were taken on a tour of the glasshouses, growing cherry and mini plum tomatoes and having the opportunity to pick and eat the fruit.
English Village Salads handed each child a punnet of cherry tomatoes to take home, presented by Tommy Tomato.
